Why does she SCREAM all her dialogue? She's aware that she doesn't have to yell, the mics will pick up what she says right? And there was also no need for her to make racist comments every other sentence, with pointless woke dialogue shoved in because Hollywood thinks it has to be there in every movie. A very obnoxious and grating character I wish had been played by someone else.
If you want to avoid having to endure shitty dei performers (and the hacks who write and direct them), check out older films that (by and large) had actors who made it to that level by virtue of having god given talent, rather than just fitting the required woke checklist for insecure audiences who have an issue watching too many whites onscreen.
80s and before are virtually free of it. 90s and 00s is safe for the most part. It's declined a lot since, and what you really have to watch for is the recent stuff, namely anything in the wake of the BLM riots 4 years ago.
There's been a concerted effort in hollywood since to get dei behind the camera (which is a whole other ball game compared to in front of it), with stories of white male screenwriters who were told to take budding diversity writers under their wing and show them the ropes, only to be fired by their bosses and replaced by the people they were mentoring. That kind of stuff will spell disaster.

Here was a movie where I thought it rather stuck out in one dialogue exchange except -- maybe they were making fun?
Female boss Asian detective: You always call (an unknown suspect) "the guy." You don't know that. Why do you always think its a GUY?
Male assistant detective: Oh, I'm sorry, next time I'll try to report on the DNA of they, them or their...
Female boss Asian detective: Welcome to the 21st Century.
See, I thought the GUY was making LEGITIMATE fun of being required to call singular human beings "they, them or their."
Until the WOMAN said "Welcome to the 21st Century."
Haywire grammar is part of the 21st Century as a good thing?
Anyway, this dialogue exchange did rather stick out like a sore thumb to me...the woman seemed to be scolding the guy.
Exactly, thanks for pointing it out. If it was a 'nice' actress like Michelle Yeoh it would've been better, but this actress was so angry and strident and it became off putting since she was a terrible actor.
