Amazing shots you were able to capture. Maybe this question has already been answered, but I must ask; how much time were you allowed within the zone? Did you see any animals?

Hey. Stayed there overnight in Chernobyl, the city, where the workers stay. Spent the afternoon in Prypiat one day and the whole day there the next. The workers do 10 days on, 10 days off, and carry radiation badges with them that measures their total amount of radiation. If it reaches a certain level, they can't stay any longer.

Amazing pictures! Thanks for sharing your story. I just came across a list of the 25 most abandoned cities/places in the world and the picture of the ferris wheel was on the list. Very haunting.

It's a truly mind-blowing place to visit. I'd like to go back after the troubles in Ukraine dies down.

Amazing photos -- more creepy than the movie was! Thanks for posting them.

No problem. Glad you enjoyed them. And yeah, wish the movie was better. I caught a documentary on Chernobyl recently that was creepier than the movie.

Hi Brett! Fascinating photos! I'm on my phone right now so I didn't get to look at all of the photos up close, but wow what an amazing trip that must've been!!

I'm fascinated by the Chernobyl disaster as well and was wondering if you remembered the name of tr documentary you saw. I'm interested in learning more about what led to the disaster and the aftermath. Thanks! And again breathtaking pictures!!
