Seriously?? It made 3/4 of a billion dollars. You don't think people want to see more?? C'mon now. I can see if it bombed. But it definitely didn't.
shareThe overwhelming opinion that I've heard/read is that the most recent Batman movie is that best big-screen adaptation of the character to date. At the very worst, it's second to The Dark Night to some people. Another film with this director and cast is very much wanted.
shareWell those people are on Acid. The Best Batman movie with Batman in it is The Dark Knight. Best Batman movie about Batman is a toss up between Batman Begins and Mask of the Phantasm. Even when it comes to pure entertainment. Even Batman and Robin is better than Pattinson-Man.
shareBatman comes across VERY differently, depending on who's writing him. He gets represented well in different movies, just represented by different comics iterations.

Last year, there were over 500 movies released world wide, if not more. Superhero films were actually a very very small percentage of studio output.
500 movies and maybe 5 are worth watching. Last year there was 7 comic book movies. No one makes comedy or sci fi movies anymore. Most all movies today are horror or a comic book movie.

Honestly?? I'm not sure what WB would do without BATMAN because every other DC Movie has bombed spectacularly except BATMAN?? He really is their cash cow$$$$
shareThat's an exaggeration. Aquaman made a billion dollars. Wonder Woman made $823 million. Both of those grossed more than The Batman.
Some of the other DCEU films also were successful.
And has to be the most forgotten DC character to ever grace the silver screen AND with a sequel no remembered either.. 🤔

Pretty sure Man of Steel also turned a profit, as did some of the other DCEU films.
