Why no comments on Capote vs. The Swans?

I'd think there'd be plenty by now.

I'm disappointed in this season. The swans simply aren't a very interesting bunch - we have no reason to care about them. And the writers don't offer explanations as to why the two men in Capote's life, Jack & John, stay with him despite his cruelty & disfunction. Capote's viciousness and abusiveness make him an utterly unsympathetic character. Don't think I’ll stick around for 6 more episodes of this.

You'd find more enthusiasm for the story over on Frock Flicks. At least one of the 3 women running the place studied the story extensively and had fun comparing real life to the show, in addition to talking about the mid-20th-century fashions vs. the costumes in the film.

To be honest, the story didn't interest me very much. I mean, it's a dumb feud between a gay writer in New York and a bunch of women who are married to powerful men. Boring. Only thing I found noteworthy about the show were the promotional posters making the women look like human swans.
