Am I the only one who actually liked this movie?
I thought it was solid movie, don't understand why so many people hated it? I actually preferred this to some other pixar movies like Inside out, Brave and Cars.

shareI loved it!
shareI think most either liked it or just found it okay. The "hate" for this movie has been rather exaggerated. I did like most of it, but it was definitely a mediocre effort, even if it was on the high end of mediocre.
"If life is getting you down and needs uplifting, then please come dance with me!"
We enjoyed it and the scenery was beautiful. The two main characters were fun together.
shareI don't know why, but it seems like you see the same kinds of posts on every board. Ignore them. I haven't seen the movie yet, but it sounds really cute and the animation in the preview was enjoyable.
shareRight? While it's not on par with other Pixar films like Toy Story, Up, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, The Incredibles, Inside out, and etc; the film is actually really good the animation is really outstanding and amazing, and the ending scene was so powerful it made me cry like a baby. I highly recommend this to parents and kids if they understand this film
shareI liked it a lot, too! I thought the story was one of the weaker ones, but it's the #1 most beautiful, and still a really nice, watchable movie.
shareI thought one problem was lack of dinosaurs. I think we only see 5 types (including the protagonist kind and the pterodactyls).
The pacing too was a bit strange. e.g. the kids, as soon as they hatch, the father starts explaining the farm and work.
But I thought the movie was overall interesting.
A good death is its own reward
I agree with lack of dinosaurs and how empty it was they should've added more. I also agree with the pace being strange at the beginning, it was slow and fast, it was odd. But I really like the movie, it was a cute movie, nice, funny, and very emotional I teared up a lot. Especially when the dad died and when he saw him at the end and when spot left, that was the most beautiful good bye scenes ever!
shareI thought it was one of the weaker films, but I still thought it was enjoyable.
