Boring and disappointing!!
I expected an awesome movie but it sucked big time.
This film could have been great but it was terrible!! It was so incredibly boring. Almost fell asleep. Wish I did...

nobody proved to do or be any more interesting than what they seemed to be or do.
sharePeople don't worry, on the boards of every great film, there is one such dumb and retard poster like this one who will ruin the film. He will try to overload the threads with his mental vomit that he didn't like the film while many will be praising that the film was great. Such mean are mostly births of 21st century who know nothing about human emotions, feelings, human errors, the THINGS a NORMAL human does, human mistakes, blunders and such things. They all believe that everything to be perfect enough like 2+2=4 and when it is not, they start screaming with their mental nausea to ruin it for everyone else who would have loved such film. Most of these people are today's iPhoners, Tablet users who have never seen a REAL LIFE because when they were born the world was being shown on 1080p LCDs or plasma screens. They know nothing about "human eye adventures".
shareI wasn't bored but I was hoping for a bit more content, ending wise. Perhaps something unexpected. I found it odd that the movie didn't feel predictable while I was viewing it, yet it ends up going nowhere. My thought at the end was, "that's it?"
shareDat wuz actually da pt. watch Hitchcock and u see its suspenseful but plot is not complex.
Werd 2 ur mudda, bruddafckka
they should have given Dunst more parts. only good thing about the film
shareAll these nitwits who claim movies are soooooooooo boring should stop watching all the crappy copies they've illegally downloaded. They have the attention span of a gnat to begin with to effectively appreciate a potboiler.
shareSome people expect a thriller, but if they know Patricia Highsmith's work, they should expect a masculine character study, which this one is, and an exploration of the edges of psychopathy (among other things). THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY was a study of a total psychopath, though it was also a bit more of a thriller. But TTMR is the kind of film you watch once to be surprised and again to appreciate the complexity. This one is similar.
Da prob these dayz is wat I feel wuz brought on by 6th sense. Pre sixth sense moviez, it wuz fine if movie had no twist. Post 6th sense, now if movie has no twist, it's missin somethin. These dayz da twist is not really 1 bec I can guess wat it is. There is nuttin they can do but give no twist 2 really surprise me these dayz. Gone r da moviez dat played straight, simple plots. And if it's an indie wid no resolution, it's considered incomplete.
Dis wuz a suspenseful movie and u dunno how it endz but bec there is no twist or clever plot, boooooo. Wat bout da journey and locale they took us 2? Booooooo, no twist no deal.

I agree, a waste of two good actors and a waste of my time.
shareI liked it. I found it refreshing to have a mystery based on characters and situational tension, rather then just CGI explosions and fight scenes. Now don't get me wrong, I'm in my 20's and I love a good Lethal Weapon or Marvel film any day of the week. But this was meant to harken back to something simpler, which is why it was an independent film in the first place.
I found it to entertaining in it's slow potboiler way. I wasn't sure what would happen to anybody, and that big scene halfway through was a big shock especially.
I don't think it's fair to picture anyone who says it's boring and disappointing as a lover of action movies and explosions. I had heard the movie was meant to be as good as The talented Mr. Ripley, which I loved ... therefore, I watched it and I found it SO disappointing. And I'm not a fan of fight scenes at all... you can have a fantastic thriller wihout any action, even just locking a few people in one room (Hitchcock did with Rope for example) but you have to be good at it.
