I have just watched the film after reading most of the user reviews 1st.

One user said they should show this is schools. Now this might be a good idea in America seeing as though there were over 70 cases in 30 states. But not in the UK as fortunately we have better police who don't operate like this over the phone and also people in general in this country wouldn't fall for this disgusting prank!(Fact)

I do give the film an average score still though as the acting was good, so I give it a 5 out of 10.

PS - Instead of showing this is school, just spend more time in making children/teenagers more clever in general.

When i saw the movie i was saying that i can't believe it was true.
I can understand the search(less taking underwear)but leave the girl there naked?
and how was taking the police so long?I mean,it is the police...
And the man beating on the girl?Even he was a cop he can't do that with practically no reason.And the worst,the sexual act...Why just don't answer,no i don't do it i prefer go to jail.It is obvious that the police will never say to do that.Just think a little.
Like they say: If someone tells you to jump to a well,will you jump?

Well i live in Europe(Portugal)and i never hearded some story like this one happen here in Europe.It could happen,i just don't hearded it,and if someone haves this information could please put the link for the new.I searched but i didn't found.

But if i was an american citizen i would have the same opinion.My opinion isn't because i live in Europe.

I was flabbergasted to learn that in the mightiest and wealthiest country in the world, the country that put men on the Moon and a leader in scientific research, there could be so many dumb people like the manager (and I mean the actual person and persons involved in the actual event this film was based on) and the other protagonists, including the girl who (were I in her position, would stand up and go to a police station immediately instead of submitting to so much humiliation) submits to all that crap.
I find it hard to believe that there can be so much ignorance as to legal police procedure in the 2010s and in America at that.

Dumb people exist everywhere.

When I went to Europe I was shocked at how fat, lazy, and stupid the average person was.(I saw more Obese people in France in day than I have in the US over my entire life). Europeans are necessarily any dumber than anyone else, but I assumed everyone there would be at least above average in intelligence and class. But that isn't true.

Point being, America and Europe (and Asia, etc..) are huge places that are NOT homogenous. In fact America is probably the most diverse place on the planet. There is no "typical" American, just like there is no "typical" European.
