This was a pretty good thriller, all the hate is misplaced

This movie has one of my favorite themes that make a good thriller drama: the escalating series of bad judgment actions that spiral out of control. Ed Harris is great as usual, as a restrained but menacing character. Kristen Stewart is dependable as usual, she gets unfair hate - she delivers in whatever I have seen her in (note, I have never seen any of the Twilight movies, maybe she's just getting it for that, I don't know).

Besides the main thriller plot there is plenty here to keep the viewer entertained. The abusive jerk husband, the steamy attraction between the two main female leads, corruption, the campy bodybuilding stuff.

I think there is just automatic hate for certain actors, and if the main relationship is a gay one. That's a shame because this is a pretty good thriller, with some creative visualizations near the end.

This board is a far right haven. Of course it would get hate here. Great thriller. The trippy ending is far out there but I didn't dislike it.

It's a haven for USA politics obsessed losers who base every post on USA politics.
Both left & right are here stinking up the place.

What hate? It's got decent ratings, reviews and going to make its money back.

I liked it too, but the second half is somewhat uninspired and dragging, and the sexual content felt a bit edgy. Nice music, nice visuals, Kristen Stewart is awesome, though I'm somewhat tired of these retro throwbacks in cinema and everything else.

Agree, I'm as far from woke as it gets but this ruled. Katy O'Brian is a star and needs to get an action franchise.

It's a great film for the first 2 acts. It falls a bit apart on the third. Way too many things are happening that don't make sense. You really need to suspend disbelief (I'm not talking about the roids hallucination).
