It fit. It's even more clever that Trier decided to have someone say "nymphomania" at certain intervals of the song.
The song is much like Joe. It's very hard and rough but the lyrics are sweet in a way. The periods at which "nymphomania" is repeated are parts of the song where the singer is talking about someone (something) that will never leave, disappoint, or hurt the character and will forever remain.
It's actually what drew me to the movie. I hated other Lars Von Trier movies but the song was magnetic and I had to watch the rest.
Yeah, it was the only thing about the entire film (vol 1 & 2) that I really hated. When I heard it I was expecting to trash the film, but it gradually won me back.
On the subject of which, it should've started with the Bach.

sharei realize that Rammstein is an odd musical choice, but I found it to somehow fit with this film. The mood of the song fits the tone of the film; angry, aggressive, and unnerving. I also like the way Rammstein's music was used in another great film, "Lilya 4 Ever."
