Scenes: -Epic shootout Billy imagined for the screenplay -Opening scene with the Jack of Diamonds killer and two thugs
Quotes: -The ghandi rant in the car -"and the irish...have alcoholism"- that and the many other remarks about Marty's drinking problem. the way Rockwell delivered his lines throughout the movie was priceless -"and that wasn't enough, so he got out a shotgun!"
I was also a fan of that one! As well as the whole exchange between Hans and Charlie's henchmen near the end when the henchman tells Hans to put his hands up and Hans replies, "No." "No?" "No." "But I've got a gun." "I don't care." "But...that doesn't make any sense." "*laughs* Too bad."
Loved Woody Harrelson's delivery of, "Can I at least pet him and scratch him and tell him he's a good boy?"
And the scene in the credits, (paraphrasing because I don't remember the whole convo) "I'm going to come kill you on Tuesday." "Tuesday works for me." "You sound different. Sorry you've been through such hardships." "Yeah." "You know what? Tuesday is no good for me. I'll get back to you." "I'll be here."
As far as scenes that gave me chills: The moment Charlie shoots Hans' wife the entire pace of the movie changed for me. Didn't care about the goons, but the moment he put that gun to her head and pulled the trigger I totally went numb. I felt for Hans. Then later when Hans dies and he says, "It's not grey at all..." That completely broke my heart and warmed my soul at the same time.
The entire scene reading of the final shootout was SOOO funny. "And then the Jack O'Diamonds turns around and pulls out his crossbow! and his shotgun!"
from memory -his nose happened to be in the
centre of where i was punching- class lines

The script is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. It's funny because in several of these scene I kept thinking Quentin Tarantino. It seemed some of the scenes was like a nod to him. Especially the very first scene.
Everyone's favorites is obviously the opening scene with the 2 hitman waiting for their target and Billy's ending to Marty "Seven Psychopaths" script which is at a cemetery.
I loved the scene when Hans is at the hospital and sits in front of Charlie. They discuss the scarf around his neck. Definitely a great scene.
The tension between Charlie and Han's wife Myra in the hospital room was great. Really good acting with Woody and Linda Bright Clay.
Zachariah (Tom Waits) telling his psychopathic story to Marty was great.
There are a lot of great scenes in this movie and you will most likely have to see this movie again to catch all of the great dialogue.
