gsmith- they are kids. They do stupid things like act out and make videos about killing themselves and post it. Kids post their thoughts about their lunch on these sites now. And kids don't have the best judgement.

If you had paid attention to the national news there have been a couple of cases like this where kids made suicide letter videos and then "tried to kill themselves"

Being a real attempt or a cry for help is why they are kept usually for 72 hours or a 3 day hold to determine how mentally fit the subject is. As a doctor we have increased stays to a week or sent them to psychiatric hospitals to get that help that they cannot get in a major city hospital.

And you are the definition of passive aggressive bullying. It is very possible for there to be a genetic predisposition to depression and for an entire family to have one kind or another. Just because you haven't seen it or experienced it doesn't mean it isn't real.

I've had patients so "depressed" that their entire personality is fractured. They are dying inside. And they definitely aren't all making it up.

I took an oath to first do no harm but the things that you have said. I think you need to see someone yourself...

As someone who found the entire film to be nothing but mixed messages and unintentional hilarity, this scene was just the proverbial icing on the cake.
