'I DIE A FREE MAN!'

Seriously, that was a pretty badass moment for me. Maybe it's because I liked the character of Atticus so much.

Money isn't the root of all evil. Love of money is.

Yeah. I really liked his character and his "salute". It gave me sad feelz. First half of the movie I was like mehhh ok. But when people started dying I was surprisingly sad.

Have loved his acting since his days on HBO's "Oz."

He was fantastic on LOST season 2-3 (other random appearances) as well.

One of those guys who always makes a movie or tv show better just for being in it.

"Adebisi" stole the movie. He was, by far, the best character.

That was the best part of the entire movie, for me.

The fact that Atticus was so overjoyed even when he knew he was about to burn to death - all because he'd finally gotten his freedom - shows how miserable he must have been as a slave all those years. A very powerful moment, for what was - to me - an enjoyable but otherwise pretty tepid film.
