Hey Mike, i think we should be best friends
Worst line ever !
shareThat line sounded very camp.
Its that man again!!
Oh, come on, that was the point. It was supposed to be a cringe-worthy and childish thing to say. It was character. That was who he was, an immature, lost kid who wanted to somehow express to Mike that he and everything he represented was *beep* great and can I please have more of it?
The film made it clear it knew just how stupid that line was in Mike's response, his little laugh and the "yeah, yeah", kindly brushing it off. It was all very natural and one of my favourite scenes actually.
It was supposed to be a cringe-worthy and childish thing to say.Yes, people are forgetting that Mike was supposed to be a good deal older than Adam and about the only thing they end up having in common, besides the dancing, is a shared interest in Brooke. share
Agreed. Actually I think the whole script was a compedium of all the worse lines ever uttered in movies. The dialogues in thsi movie were atrocious(as was the 'acting')
shareI thought it was kind of adorable. There's a good side to immaturity sometimes - that kind of unstudied, spontaneous emotional openness can be really sweet. I think Mike was charmed by it, much the same way he would be if an actual little kid said that to him.
You don't sneak up on people in a zombie apocalypse, okay?
