shareI agree it's an awkward line. But I think it fits with the character, an immature kid who thinks he's found what he didn't know he was looking for - Mike is his (new) ticket to women, money and a good time. He says it to make it clear to Mike that he wants to continue with all of it.

share14? In my first year of school, aged 4 a friend and I had a similar conversation to this. Following said conversation we then went hand in hand to our teacher and informed her "We're friends!" Though actually, the line amused me a bit because it is the kind of thing a five-year-old would say. Also, kinda fitting, eh?!
