Nude scene

I wanted to walk out of the theatre after that first scene. That girl Nadine was not necessary in terms of walking around like that completely butt naked. I mean they can show that they had sex without having us see her 10 foot nipple or every hair on her body. I just would like to see a movie with my husband that doesn't have a naked woman in it just for shock value, it lasted too long in my opinion. Am I the only one? I ended up loving the movie regardless, but will just fast forward it when I see it on dvd :)

It was pretty gratuitous..but as a woman it seems so frequent that I've gotten to where I barely notice.

What's funny to me that all the guys that want to call anyone a "prude" or tag people with any number of accusations would have their panties in a wad if it were a hot guy bending over and going full frontal for that length of time.
Open mindedness often seems a one way street.

zooymtoo maybe I would start going to more movies IF there were scenes like that with guys in them...lol
Every where you look women are used in such a manner. Either on screen, or at cat shows in skimpy outfits selling the newest car. Powerful men have to have hot women on their arms to show to the world their status in life.

The sad thing is that women -allow- it to happen. Its a two way street. sigh

I was only upset by it because I was jealous that I don't have a body like she does. It's not as though they were having sex, big deal, a naked woman's body. I was more upset at Denzel's butt being flat instead of perky and round. lol

Think about how much worse you'd of felt had it been Tamara Tunie or that Reilly broad instead of Velasquez.

Get over it. You're an adult. Are you really that uptight about nudity? Who cares, it's a just a body, everyone has one. Fast forward though a scene just because it has nudity? That's *beep* stupid and prudish. You would willingly miss information conveyed in the scene that impacts the whole plot of the movie just because you have the squeamish attitude of a seven year old? Sounds like you need to grow up.

I was with four friends when I saw this movie, all aged 14, and during this scene, Denzel was on the far left side of the screen and the girl was on the far right. We were near the front of the theater so in order to look at one side of the screen, we needed to turn our heads a bit. I looked over to each side and all of my friends had their heads turned to the right side. Nobody was paying attention to Denzel's conversation on the phone.
