Well you know its a good movie when it makes you think so hard! i totally loved this movie and the discussions its sparked with a bunch of my friends (those that i practically forced into watching the movie :D ).. theres so much that the director has left for us to fill in with our own imagination.. kudos!
So was wondering, anyone come across any other movies like this one??
btw the rating is so unfair.. i mean why rate if you dont get the movie?
I would say As Above, So Below (2014). It's about a real-life place just like Dyatlov's Pass. It was pretty intriguing and tense. After watching it I thought, "Damn, I wish I have never seen it, so I could watch it again without knowing what's gonna happen".
Also, The Tunnel (2011) is a pretty good film. I mean, it's not a real-life place (I think) but it still makes you wonder a little.
And as everybody is saying, Chernobyl Diaries (2012). I found that movie very interesting and even if it's not the best horror ever made, it's worth watching if you are interested in things like that.
The Frankenstein Theory is very similar.

Picnic at Hanging Rock 1975, a very eerie story about three girls that disappear on a mountian which leaves a lot to the imagianation.. Dreams Awake 2011, some mystical intrigue involving Mt Shasta but not a horror flick. The creatures in DP remind me alot of the cave creatures in The Descent 2005, a great horror film.

When I was watched for first time, I'm impressed. Really good thriller movie. I think It's not horrible. I love it.
Loved Grave Encounters, didn't like the second one (-apart from the lift scene-which tbh, you guessed the second they were in the hallway...)
