Biggest Action star in Movie history vs Zombies = boring Artsy crap

Yeah, I was dissapointed too, especially being a die hard Arnie fan myself. Sure, I tought he was great and everything in it, but the movie desperately needed some nail biting dangerous situations. 28 days later was a drama too and had some great scènes in it, enough to make my blood pulp. In this one, the zombies were so lame, you have to wonder how they could have taken over the whole world (well, at least enough to disturb modern life).
And no, I didn't see the trailers or read about it beforehand. I'm still the kind of guy who enjoy going to the videostore to rent a movie without knowing what I'm gonna see. I still choose on impulse, by watching the case and reading the synopsis on the back. And this time, I felt misleaded.

What a small, narrow mind you have.

So that's two stupid posts you've made here. I love how you rationalise that since Arnold is known for his action roles then every movie he's in has to be an action movie, lol. You could fly a plane through the holes in that logic.

By the same token every zombie movie doesn't need to be full of blood, gore and violence. The movie was clearly written, filmed and promoted as a drama, and yet you were dumb enough to expect it to be an action movie regardless then throw a tantrum and say the movie was *beep* when it wasn't the sort of movie you incorrectly assumed it would be.

I'm sorry you lack the attention span and intellect to appreciate a zombie movie that tries to be different and look at other aspects of zombies that are often left unexplored.

Total disappointment. And all the build up about having to kill her. What a let down.

Ryan Gosling might have been the obvious choice for a meditative slow-moving drama, but I appreciated Arnie trying to do something different... I watch movies to see actors try and act, not repeat the same actions in every film.

Abigail Breslin might not be the greatest actress the world has ever seen, but she gave exactly what the role needed. There have been many far less adequate performances in movies.






Did none of you read the synopsis before you saw it? Did none of you have a Clue what you were going to see? Or did your infantile brains see Arnold in the cast and want to see the same damn movie youve seen 20,000 times? Im thinking you are the problem.. not arnold the movie the cast or its writers
