Neither of those statements are true.

"Save *us*"??? If *you're* suffering from superhero fatigue, you're in the minority. These movies are hugely popular, and hugely profitable. They're not going anywhere.

Whether this succeeds Or fails. However you define those terms.

If I *had* to wager (I never would), I'm betting it achieves both critical and financial success. But I predict a SEVERE split in the audience, on the love/hate scale. Watch me be a prophet: Hugely Polarizing.

3. Killers of the Flower Moon
4. Scream 5
5. Knives Out 2

The movie is literally a murder mystery revolving around a family, Detectives, and an immigrant nurse. This has nothing to do with being diverse just cause at the end Ana de Armas's character who is a female foreign immigrant ends up taking the inheritance & the house. So basically from your perspective, if the character was a white male instead who practically was in the same scenario as Ana de Armas's character then it would be no problem at all. You're looking way too into it.

white on black crime, you get riots, protests, murders, looting and burning

black people kill each other all time in Chicago and no one cares, where is blm? where is the outrage from Sharpton, Jackson? not one person says anything.

739 people have been murdered in one City. and guess what, its a democrat city and a democrat state.

Survivor recently had to recast their show, why? because its racist to have too many white people on one show. normally there is 20 people, but this year its only 18. 11 of the 18 people are minorities. even though 70% of the population is white, they are stacking the odds to get a minority to win. That's absolutely not how that film works. The film works because it has a great script and entertaining characters. Diversity has nothing to do with the quality of Knives Out.

Oh I call it the us vs them mentality. The second they see diversity or any hint of that they lose their mind. Since it is not their team that gets catered to it is time to line up the defenses. I might lean a certain way politically as does anyone but I do not freak out just because something might lean a certain way that does not fit my ideology. If a movie is badly made it is badly made, and vice verse. I do not rank a movie lower or higher just off of it's political leanings. For instance I think Ghostbusters 2016 is feminist trash. However I think a film like the Expendables is nostalgia bait macho porn trash. On the flip side Mad Max Fury Road is a feminist film and it is fantastic! John Wick is macho action done the right way unlike the expendables.

That's what I'm practically saying. Like everyone nowadays when they see the slightest of diversity on film or TV, it ends up being a major problem. Knives Out should not be controversial when it comes to diversity what so ever. As for the 2016 Ghostbusters, yeah that was trash and I hated the all the female characters in that film but not because of their gender, just the way their characters were written. And yeah Fury Road on the other hand gave us Furiousa who is one of the best female characters on film. I just can't stand when people criticise certain films for being "woke" when no themes of diversity is portrayed in that particular film like Knives Out. The criticism makes no sense.

You are dead on. Ghostbusters 2016 felt like it just existed to be like look at us we are so creative making it women as opposed to men! See that is hamfisted trash that I do not like. As you said earlier though it is also because the characters are written horribly. I love female action heroines that well written. For Example I love Ellen Ripley she is a great action heroine because she is a compelling character. Furiousa is also one of my favorite female action heroines! I think she is absolutely outstanding. Yep Knives out is a great film why is it woke? Oh because it had a ethnic woman and the villain was white? Oh so does that make a film like Blade woke then? Or how about Captain Phillips the film where ethnic people are the villains, is that anti woke? See how stupid this is?

Exactly. Like there are plenty of female oriented films that may come off poorly but it doesn't have to do with their gender, it has to do with how their characters are handled. And there are some films that are genuinely great with female leads. So yeah Knives Out featured an illegal immigrant woman who ends up getting all the inheritance & the house that was originally owned by whites. Ok that doesn't make it woke at all. The character of Marta was a well written likeable character so how should audiences get mad about how the film ended? Like that isn't woke at all
