Should this be a prequel with a younger DCEU Batman?

Like Arkham Origins, Wonder Woman was set before BVS so why can't the solo Batman film can.

sounds good to me

There's already plenty of origin / young / prime Batman movies. I want to see DC moves on the continuity. Older Batman, or crippled Batman, even dead Batman. At least that's something new we haven't seen before in cinema.

reply

Casting for "dead Batman" might be tricky.

reply

Lol yeah. But they could have some flashback scenes with alive Batman.

I really don't want another young Batman movie all over again. Do zombie Batman! Or a half-Batman half-machine Batman! Greek God Batman! Anything really, just please not the origin story.

reply

Been Affleck did a great job playing "Dead Batman" (or "Old Fat Dead Batman") in "Justice League"!

Which is a pity, I kind of liked him in "BvsS".

New rumor now that the film may have a younger Batman.

reply

That one sucked. This one will be better.

reply

There was a younger Batman film. It was called "Batman Begins"

reply

There is the ongoing rumor that Ben is leaving and the film may feature a younger DCEU Batman.

reply

Armie Hammer would be a good young Bruce Wayne, but then again this DC Universe is a fucking mess, even sfter Justice League, WB can't get the chickens in a row

reply

Think they went into the team up phase too soon to properly develop the characters, BVS and JL felt like they were just made for already established fans. DC films had been trying too hard to be edgy especially after the Schumacher Batman films.

reply

Even though Aflleck is fine to me I never liked that DC began with an older Batman who already fought crime for 20 years.

I know we have Batman Begins but that film isn't part of the DCEU.

But I think people have enough with origin stories too, but I still think they should have made Bruce appear in his early times as Batman.

reply

Having him middle aged limits long term possibilities. It would've been easier to have at Cavill's age.

reply

Shia LaBoeuf would make a great Batman.
He was already great as Indiana jones.

reply

Indiana Jones was Ryan Gosling in Indiana Jones and the Crystal Alien Skull. You may have mistaken him for Rick Deckard (played by Shia LeBeouf) in Blade Runner 2048, both movies are crap and has Harisson Ford in minor roles.
