First 5 minutes of first episode is pretty wild.
i heard that everyone from Murder House will be in Apocalypse along with the witches from Coven.
What Im wondering is this.
Are all of the Murder House ghosts immune to the apocalypse or does affect them in some way like make them weak or free them from the house?
Not very impressed but I'll give it time.
shareWell was borderline AWFUL!!!
Talk about a complete letdown and total FALSE Hype....
This entire season and all BUZZ was build around being a crossover between MH and Coven and we get this horrible first episode showing NOTHING to do with either season or NOT showing a single character from either season....
The only other time I've been this letdown was DEXTER season 8 and Then THE GOD AWFUL series ruining finale
Jeez give it time buddy, its only the first episode, you surely can't expect everything to be shown in the 1st episode.
shareNo But I wanted at least something with the crossover between MH and Coven to be introduced....Hell I would have settlde Literally for a 5 second flashback, absolutely anything ....
Instead we got nothing, Had ALL the Hype and promo not been build around the crossover, Had you not Known going in, There was absolutely nothing in that episode that points to it being a crossover....
Also I'm not digging this whole Underground, creepy bunker....It seem like The Writer is completely over thinking The End Of The World and making it way to complicated....
NOt everything has to be deep, I was hoping this season would be just like The title sounds "Apocalyspe", dealing with a post Apocalyptic World, Mutants, chaos, The Anti christ...instead it looks like were going to be dealing with This weird Bunker/society
I'll give it time but I'm extremely disappointed(Just My Opinion)
(Spoilers ahead if anyone reading this hasn't seen Murder House)
billbrown,
Didn't they give us a taste of MH when "Michael Langdon" (antiChrist) showed up? And they played one of the songs from that season, if I remember correctly, hinting back to that time.
I know it's not a lot but it was something to set the stage.
I agree though that if the whole season revolves around the "bunker," I will get cabin fever! If they do, maybe it will be loaded with flashbacks before they were in the bunker.
One thing I'm not liking is the freedom AHS got last year and this year in overusing the f word! Once for an entire season is more than enough! I preferred when they didn't use it at all.
Yeah that was a huge crossover moment, like literally the son of Tate showed up at the end, the anti christ, so there was some crossover stuff in this episode.
shareSettle down, Bill. Obviously ep. 1 was going to be largely expository. I always assumed that the Murder House and Coven stuff was going to be covered via flashbacks. My guess is that it will be about the witches coming to LA to investigate the anti-christ child, Michael Langdon. But the main conflict will take place in the bunker because whatever happened with the witches at the Murder House, they clearly lost the fight.
shareI wouldn't say that the Dexter finale was series ruining. Dexter was on decline for a long time before that, but I felt the ending did it justice.
for me personally...The Finale to Dexter is the single worst creative failure I've ever seen in Hollywood history....
I Literally I have to pretend it does not exist...when I watch Dexter now and think about it, I literally made up a different ending in my head and thats what I think about and go with...I truly can not even think about or recognize the actual ending...
I agree seasons 7 and 8 were truly awful....
IMO 1-4 were some of the best TV seasons ever....
5 and 6 Both went downhill but at least for me were still good and enjoyable ....
Why though? You don't think the writers should have made him atone for his sins?
I mean, something like the ending to Lost made me truly angry over all the wasted time, but the Dexter ending was just average, not that bad.
Be prepared for more disappointment. The witches don't show up in episode 2. Although Rubber Man does.
shareI really enjoyed it. Interesting and fun first episode. Can't wait to see what happens next!
shareStarted very interesting but i dindt like the time jumps, it would have been better if more of the actual Apocalypse and direct aftermath was shown.
But its got my attention so far and cant wait to see the other familiar faces returning.
I'll give it time but I was a little disappointed. Too many newb actors and characters. I think their was too much hype and we got little of what was said to be happening. I'll stay with it though...I'm too intrigued.
shareIt was ok. Too early to be negative. The first episode never pans out to what eventually happens towards the end.
shareI thought it was good. And it will only get better, like every season.
