This will have tons of "social commentary" and lessons about toxic men. The female lead will one punch and knock out men 3 times her size, and also teach us a valuable lesson about how useless men are. Good for them

Men do kill more; men do engage in more physical-based criminality; men are goal driven in their criminality. These are inherently masculine traits, which is why 99% of crime lords are men.

Sure, but 99% of female criminals are those done out of crimes of passion or because of a male.
While Lucia sort of fits the second stereotype, the problem is that the game pivots her as a criminal badass -- and later on, according to the leaks, she ends up as a single mother carrying out her crimes without her "Clyde".
It sounds like you need all of the characters to fit your personal stereotypes. Don't play the game if it creates uncontrolled emotional turmoil for you. I'm looking forward to GTA6 and will be buying a new PC just to play it.

No, I need them to be grounded enough to suspend my disbelief so I want to connect with their story, otherwise why am I playing their story?
It was easy to connect to CJ because his story was satirising Hollywood's obsession with gang culture in the late 1980s and early 1990s -- a story about a poor black guy trying to escape the "hood" held some appeal. And despite its quirkiness, it did at least ground you (for the most part) in CJ's story and character development. That's not to mention that some real life celebrities did come out of similar backgrounds to make something of themselves, even people like Mickey Rourke, who was at one point a drug dealer and gangster before escaping to Hollywood.
This isn't to say that Lucia's storyline can't be good (it could be), but humans have a thing called pattern recognition, and so far, other than Emily The Criminal (which I haven't seen yet but most people say is very good) we haven't had recent stories with female leads in action/crime thrillers that weren't drenched in feminist agitprop. share
That's a long-winded way of writing that you need the game's characters to fit your personal stereotypes.
