Her English accent isn't great; in fact her acting isn't that good at all. She looks like Catherine Tate, and I couldn't get passed that

You're out of your mind. Adams was incredible. When Cate Blanchett won the Oscar she specifically called her out for this performance. Forgive me if I'll take the word of a two-time Oscar winner and multiple nominee over yours.

I have to agree and I like Amy in a lot of things she does.

But this was odd. Her accent kept slipping, so much so that when she reveals her true self to Coopers character, I didn't notice a difference, I thought she was talking in an American accept to him on many other occasions.
