Anyone else annoyed by the daughters?

Especially the younger one? lol god damn she was annoying as *beep*!!

reply

Older one was far more annoying, but yeah both were super annoying. Which I guess makes them great little actresses because they were both pretty adorable.

Imagine being thrown into that situation. That's hard enough for an adult to handle. Imagine what it's like for children. They have no idea how to act.

Having said that, they did get on my nerves. Sometimes you just gotta shut the eff up, not get pacified every few minutes, and do what you parents tell you to do.

i wish the kids died

I usually can't stand kids in movies, but they didn't bother me too much at all, which i very surprising.

reply

This was not realistic at all these kids were written extremely stupid and annoying for their age. I do agree people complain about kids acting like kids in movies like for example Terminator John Connor is unrealistically smart and resourceful and people still complain about him screaming which is just silly. However here these kids are extremely coddled to an unrealistic and stupid level. Trying to run for your life and be discreet? Does it make sense for the kid to start screaming like an idiot for a stuffed doll? Running towards armed gunmen trying to kill the family or ask whether or not they could go to the restroom? Also why in the world didn't the mother get the daughters to help row when the father was injured because he had been shot? Instead he is trying to manage with one arm bleeding and in pain while the two kids sit and whimper.

The second the scene showed the wife for the 1st time on the airplane, I knew I wouldn't be able to buy into her being his wife and mother of the 2 kids. Now the kids....so annoying. In the face of danger is not the time to be acting cute...screaming and alerting the bad guys towards them cos she dropped her toy and the other one didnt want to be thrown? I wouldve left her ass there. And how tf do u not know your daughter, prob a 10 yr old at most, left the hotel room to go to the swimming pool??? Just fk*ng annoying.

reply

I don't know who I found more annoying, the mother or the children. When Owen first returned to the room to warn his family about the shooting she looks at him like his crazy and doesn't believe him and throughout the movie the kids acted like the parents were annoying THEM while the were on vacation despite the constant extreme violence and bloodshed. I'm so glad that I chose to watch this in the comfort of my home so that I could fast forward through the unbelievable idiotic behavior displayed by these characters. The movie definitely didn't live up to the previews.

reply

Maybe if you didn't fast forward so much you would know that they weren't there on vacation. So easy to judge from the comfort of your home, I would like to see how you would react in the same situation.

alto, you attacking me is uncalled for so don't respond to any of my post. If you liked the movie all have to do is explain what you liked about it, If you only come here to attack another person then your post is useless.

reply

Most likely, you're a child hater.

Oh, you say that like it's a bad thing.

This was not a great movie for the "childless by choice" crowd. I would have been far happier focusing on the tension of an adult couple targeted and trying to escape an entire city in revolt--without the distractions of going potty, puppydog bribes and "Tell me a story, Daddy."

But if The Quick and The Dead is any indication, that little girl with the gun will grow up to be drop dead gorgeous, then go back there and kick some local ass.

I'll probably like No Escape II better.

all the females in this film.

Wilson should have slapped some sense into all of their hysterical arses.

As I grow older, I pay less attention to what people post, I just watch their avatars.
