So Dark and Depressing
I pushed myself to the second episode and I just can’t go on. The Sandman character is dull and uncharismatic.
Then the entire film is so dark and depressing.
Can’t they make fun fantasy anymore?

shareThere is under the surface this kind of pessisism i think.
Just like the brilliant Tom Sturridge in this show. In my opinion, one of the few best things about this show was Patton Oswalt's Matthew the Raven. Not sure if it was like this for anyone else, they literally could not have picked anyone better to voice Matthew. Not all dark and depressing.
shareOswalt's voice is the one thing I really dislike in the show. Can't disassociate it from the actor. Bleh.
Great show though. Fairly true to the source material. 8.5/10
Nah! That is just your opinion, man!
Netflix's The sandman, it’s pretty good in the first half... it is absolutely not better than the comic books and a lot of the second half of the season is was eh... and I likely won't be re-watching the whole entire series again. Rated the show 5/10. Most people I know are not impressed with the show and I feel the same way. Heck, even the folks at my nearest comic stores disliked the show. Again, Patton Oswalt's Matthew the Raven was one of the best things in the show, I will be sure to get his and Tom Sturridge autographs and photo-ops at a comic convention when that is a possibility for me. That being said, I quite enjoyed the surprise 11th bonus episode, just watched it and the episode gets a 7/10.
Also, Tom Ellis' Lucifer series. I love it. Excellent show! Super entertaining. There are people disliked this show, I don't care they do, because that is their opinion! Although nothing compared to the Lucifer in the books, that is a show I would gladly watch again and again, and more. Already met most of that cast so far for autographs and photo-ops at conventions including Tom Ellis. Yeah!!!
Nah, that's just your opinion.
shareSee the cover image, Illuminati bullshit. I learned to recognize this shit back when Lady Gaga first came out. It's a very distinctive look. I don't go anywhere near it, it's always mind control designed to make you dumber.
