Little things that made you laugh
The sign at the beach says
NO SWIMMING!!
Please
Bill Murray throwing his shoe!
shareThere were so many little things that made me laugh, I can't even remember most of them.
I really loved the fact that Tilda Swinton's character was just called Social Services.
Also, Bill Murray's character checking out the motor bike in the background while Bruce Willis and Francis McDormand talk in the foreground.
The scene in the treehouse when the scouts come to the realization that they should help Sam and Suzy. There was something about the way the main kid talked and his mannerisms that was so damn hilarious.
Sam saying "Those sons of bitches!"
Sam saying "But I don't give a damn" in regards to the pin he was wearing.
Sam walking out into the crowd of kids dressed as animals for the play, and how he started touching one of their outfits.
When Bruce Willis offers Sam some alcohol and he pours his remaining milk into the ash tray.
So many more. I have to see this again! haha.
I thought the funniest scenes were with the khaki scouts - the treehouse,
the weapons, burning the ants with lighter fluid, the model rocket, the trampoline, etc. etc.
I also laughed out loud when Bill Murray said "I hope the ceiling blows off and I get sucked into space"
I liked him touching the animal costume too!
share"Sam walking out into the crowd of kids dressed as animals for the play, and how he started touching one of their outfits."
YES! I can't tell you how hard I laughed at that scene, and the scene where Bill Murray throws his shoe. Hilarious.
"When the boy offered to give the girl's cat the leftover fish, and she was like it only eats cat food. Then the shot of the cans of the cat food was stacked up all perectly.Something about that scene, due to being random, was funny.."
...and the kitten food was labeled as "real fish"... :)
Sam spits after his first kiss with Suzy, then she looks offended until he says "I had sand in my mouth." Then the ear-piercing, and him getting struck by lightning (maybe that wasn't so little, but I loved it).
shareI liked all the little pointers Sam was giving Suzy, like putting pebbles in your mouth so your spit can quench your thirst, and of course when Sam said he sometimes puts water in his hair to stay cool and Suzy dryly suggests that wearing a fur hat might not be helping...
shareAnd then, after they both try the pebbles, he spits his out and says he brought plenty of water.
"So it goes" -Slaughterhouse Fiveshare
Suzy: "Was he a good dog?"
Sam: "Who's to say?"
Amazing.
> And then, after they both try the pebbles, he spits his out and says he brought plenty of water.
And they are standing in front of a babbling brook with plenty of water all around.

What Would Jesus Do For A Klondike Bar (WWJDFAKB)?
We know they're in a certain radius of this spot...
shareBill Murray holding a bottle of liquor (?) and an axe, says to his sons: "I'm gonna go find a tree to cut down." (or something along those lines)
shareI cracked up when Scout Master Ward (Norton) used his scout swiss army knife to open the tent zipped with the special hook tool because it was zipped from the inside!
Also when Willis was giving Sam beer, and especially when he poured the rest of his milk out in the ashtray during that scene!
"I cracked up when Scout Master Ward (Norton) used his scout swiss army knife to open the tent zipped with the special hook tool because it was zipped from the inside!"
Loved this. And also his surprised exclamation when he found the tent to be zipped from the inside.
Yeah brilliant, also funny to be because it seems like one of those things on your swiss army knife that you wonder when you'll ever use it.
