When Bill Murray sees the kids in the tent. They zip it up, he just picks up the tent!

The scene where the narrator explains that he had taught Sam cartography and how this news goes over the heads of the adults.
Just rewatched this movie for maybe the 5th or 6th time. Many of my favorite small touches were already mentioned.
I love when the police officer offers Sam a "slug" of beer and Sam pours his milk into the ashtray. Bruce Willis later gives him another refill.
Love that Bill Murray's character just wonders off numerous times (with an axe, when searching in the meadow, after throwing away the tent).
When they come in from the rain, one khaki scout has a poncho over an indian headdress.
When Norton does his scout entry after the flood and doesn't say anything
In the scene with the scissors stabbing and how they cut to a cartoon shot of an arrow
Bill Murray trying to get into the tent and then just lifting it up
The shot with the scouts filing out of the basement after the mother leaves on the bicycle
The social services scene in the aeroplane
the weird protagonist throwing a turtle into the lake, upside down, so nonchalantly.

The scene where the kids are caught at the campsite. Bill Murray charges the tent and Sam zips it up in a panic - like that will save them! It's like burying your head under the pillows so the monsters won't get ya! Wonderful.
