... ok they saw a chance to make a buck, but cant see this as a feature.

I think they cut too many important scenes out of the film, Rob embarrassing himself trying to get laid being the most obvious one, it changed the whole tone of it, especially the ending.

I would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that it works so well as a film and that the film itself is excellent. Not to mention that it seems to me like they picked the best bits for the film and that the film doesn't suffer from structural faults.

I didn't know there was a film-length version of this. It would be a bit weird...the repetitive nature of the episodes was one of the charms...but it would seem a bit weird having it all in one go.
