I sure hope that is just make up or prosthetics.

Agreed, in the movie she looks really aged!
shareQuite. She doesn't look 60 but she does look a good 10 years older than her actual age. She is younger than I am but, if I didn't know better, I would think she is significantly older.

Cosmopolitan published an article about this ages ago, which prompted a lot of women to quit smoking. Kirsten and her husband, Jesse Plemons, both quit smoking for their children.
Spending a lot of time in the sun, to get a tan, also ages the face.
I try to remember to wear sunscreen daily on my face for that reason.
