So for those of you that have seen the movie.
What would you give it on a scale of 1-10 and why?
How was Dennis Quaid's Performance as Reagan?

Movie - 7.5/10
Quaid's Performance - 7/10
As I've said in a few threads in here, it's a "feel good" Reagan film not a documentary. Those looking for an in-depth look at his presidency might not like it. But those looking for an American story about the 40th president and his rise in politics will enjoy it. It's inspiring and uplifting, although it mythologizes Reagan to some extent. This part of the story is a little cheesy but overall, a VERY solid film in my opinion. It's worth watching if you like historical movies.
I'd give it a 6. It's superficial and overly simplistic, like most right-wing movies, but it kept my interest because it covered the main aspects of his life and career. I'd say it's equivalent to watching an educational film about a subject you're interested in.
share3.5/10
Quaid is good, but the movie is poorly made and overstuffed. Pretty boring an dull honestly, which is a shame because there is a good movie in it somewhere.
5.5/10 ... it's a poorly made movie, and I say so even as a big Reagan fan and Republican conservative. The movie jumps around too much, overlooks certain details, and feels like a campaign advertisement at times
But Quaid's performance gets a 9/10 for me. He clearly put in a lot of effort to be Reagan, and I feel he nails the voice inflection and mannerisms. The one knock is that he didn't look too much like Reagan
