1/22/17 Episode "Tell All, Part 1" Discussion Thread

Here's the synopsis for tonight's episode.

Season 7 Episode 10
The Brown family sits down to discuss this season's celebrations, confessions, and best moments, from weddings to catfishing, and stories of coming out.

Tonight's episode is 2 hours and is I believe the season finale but my synopsis did say Tell all part 1. I have a feeling the 1st hour will recap everything we've seen this season then the second hour will be the interview. I could be wrong and maybe the whole two hours will be the interview. I'm not real thrilled with having to see everything again after it was shown numerous times during the episodes original airing.

Sadly my DVR is showing the same thing for next week. So maybe we are getting two weeks of two hour segments of the same damn stuff over, and over, and over, and over again.

23 weeks and she is due the end of May? Am I counting my weeks wrong (?), but that isn't the end of May.

Wouldn't that be April? Also, when was that photo taken? That's one of Meri's dresses she had on the last time she was home. I guess we'll see tonight if she has that dress on for the tell-all.

I'm 23 weeks, 4 days and due May 18. So she's a little bit behind me.

Dexter: I would give everything to feel nothing again.

I've seen doctors make a mistake, but Maddie probably knows when she got pregnant - I think they told the public she's due in late May, but she's really due in early May, so she can have the baby under the radar of public scrutiny.

Yeah, when was this filmed? Maddie has on a sleeveless shirt and she's not big. + you were right, Andrea Canning is not good. I hope Tamron comes back next season.

No Andrea isn't good at all in this type setting. She's sticking to her Dateline format of questioning.

From what they've stated, I have to assume this was filmed at some point before Mykelti and Tony's wedding. I'm thinking sometime before Christmas.

I hope this is the last season they ever talk about the catfish thing(I know it probably wont' be). They've worn it out and I'm tired of hearing about it. It happened years ago. It's time for something new.

Well, crap, now we know what is on next week. Maybe the tell-all next week was filmed later, like in the past 6 months. 

Well I guess tonight IS NOT the season finale and that will be next week with part 2 of the tell all. 2nd hour is Janelle recap...............

I know they did it this way on purpose, but I wish they wouldn't tease certain things that will be on next week's tell-all.

What did they tell us in the first hour that we haven't known for the last 6 years? I have to admit the Janelle recap was much more interesting than the first hour.

This is new. Meri said Jackie Overton 'came unhinged' in the car driving from Disneyland to Las Vegas. That is new information. As I recall they went to Disneyland several months before the situation became public. That time frame puts a new spin on what we knew. That is if she is telling the truth.

The catfish said back then that it got sick at Disney and was vomiting on the way back. I think they both lie.

I never heard that either, but to me, that bolsters Meri's story. Maybe by the end of the show, they will have told us bits and pieces of the "Sam" story so we can finally put the real story together.

Meri already told that story when she visited that woman who also got catfished a few weeks ago.

I did miss that story the first time around - so Meri is telling us that she knew as far back as the trip to Disneyland that it was a scam and that day was the day she thinks Jackie Overton may have bugged her house and did gain access to her phone? The timeframe is still pretty confusing.

Janelle= biggest wet blanket on the planet.

This BS of Hunter being "depressed" about the move. If he was depressed he wouldn't have had such a healthy appetite. He was simply pouting.

How can you tell with a teenager? Pouting & depression can be similar and usually don't last too long, which is what happened to Hunter. Maddie also was very unhappy about the move and acted like a snotty kid, but that's not what they focused on in the "Janelle episode". I think the Browns, children or adults would have to be very depressed not to eat. We were told Meri was so ill she couldn't eat and lost 30 lbs, but I never saw it.

Who knows if Hunter was clinically depressed, angry, sad, or all of those. For a kid his age to actually cry in front of his siblings, parents, and the camera- he was obviously very unhappy. Staying in his room, and refraining from any activities that were normally enjoyable to him certainly sounds like he was depressed. I think I would have tried to protect his privacy more if he were my kid.

I hope they had Hunter's permission to show him crying. Also, his depression or whatever it was didn't last very long - I think as usual they dramatized that for the show.
