Regarding the ending.

First off I would like to declare I havent read the book (which doesnt mean I have no intentions to) and just saw the film the other day. By the end, do you think Aimee embraces Sutter again? I mean do you think she gives him a chance or just rejects him? That ending was kind of a cliffhanger, wasnt it? Please, share with me your opinions.

Yeah I think she's glad to have him back, he now realizes what he had and almost lost, and he's on his way to getting out of "the now" and living a productive and happy life.
