I'm going to say emitting wind would be pretty useless, because it would cause damage to power lines among other things, and you'd end up not being too popular as a result.

Hmm, that's a thorny philosophical problem. I would argue that "looking at" and "seeing" are two different things. You can look at something without seeing it -- a camouflaged object, for instance, or a Magic Eye picture. So somebody could be looking at you and you'd suddenly be visible. But there's the argument that you can't look *at* something you can't see, only *toward*. In that case, we need somebody with an advanced linguistics degree to figure out how the superpower works.

Problem is "Mystery Men" actually showed us at least one, highly specific situation where Invisible Boy's power would not be useless.

Wasn't it a Simpsons or Family Guy episode where they all got super powers and one of them was to control the growth of their fingernails, haha.

I'd say that's pretty useless.

Dude, have you ever heard of Matter Earing Lad? Seriously. He's a superhero that's part of the Legioneers. There are other characters such as. Lightning Lad, Bubble Boy, Black Lass, Saturn Girl, Monel, Sun Lad. Karate Kid.
