there was little to no storyline. obviously the characters are all likable from the first, so this film was just a chance to see them. the film consists of a bunch of random scenes stuck together. i think if you actually only had the scenes that pushed the storyline forward in anyway the film would only last 15 minutes.
i know its a kids film but at least all other animated films from dreamworks or pixar have a solid storyline that adults can enjoy.
im shocked at how poor this film was. it wasnt about gru the hero or villan, it was about gru the single dad.

Although it did not live up to the first film, we can't really say its the worse ever. it had its moments.

ur an *beep* this is 1 of the BEST animated movie of 2013 and it's better than the first one. i think ur the worst brainless stupid-ass out there!

I can get maybe you not liking it, but WORST EVER? I for one thought this was pretty fun, not the best ever but enjoyable.

If you're looking for the worst animated film ever, how about "Fritz the Cat," "Thumbelina," most of the "Land Before Time" and Disney direct-to-video sequels (ESPECIALLY "Milo's Return" and "Leroy & Stitch")... Seriously, if you think this is the worst animated film ever, you're extremely deluded but also kinda lucky.

You CLEARLY have not watched very many animated films outside of the typical Toy Story and all of the beloved classics. No, DM2 is far superior to so many other animated films.

Check out the animated films on Netflix, you'll get the idea then.

You my friend... haven't seen happy feet. Now that's the worst animated film ever! HAHAHAH! Despicable Me is really good and I'm sorry but it IS a kids movie. Maybe your getting too old for animated movies? I honestly enjoyed it and the plot was so adorable. I like that Gru was falling in love and I like the girl he was falling for. Her gadgets where very cool! I enjoy visiting that world and seeing all that it had to offer.

No, clearly this was the worst movie ever made...by a country mile...nothing else can even reside of DM2's company, not even "Freddy Got Fingered."
