there was little to no storyline. obviously the characters are all likable from the first, so this film was just a chance to see them. the film consists of a bunch of random scenes stuck together. i think if you actually only had the scenes that pushed the storyline forward in anyway the film would only last 15 minutes.
i know its a kids film but at least all other animated films from dreamworks or pixar have a solid storyline that adults can enjoy.
im shocked at how poor this film was. it wasnt about gru the hero or villan, it was about gru the single dad.

not so worst, but I dont really like this one ( I love the first DM very much!), but this one is what I expected. Minions are not funny anymore, they're just annoying. Just a so-so movie.

Are you saying ever or just this year?

Because for just this year....possibly. So DM2 is worse than:

Monster's University
The Croods
Turbo

I'd say it's about tied with Epic.

Discpicable me 2 isn't the worst animated film yet! It's one of my favourite. Okay, the storyline is not very developped but it's a kids film at first and it must be quiet simple for them. I think it's a very funny and I laughed throughout the film with my best friend (we're 18).

WHAT?! This movie was awesome! It was funny, it was good, and it has a good storyline suitable for everyone. And i find Gru the single dad so much better then Gru the hero or villain!

agree 2 was by the numbers. Oh no margo getting boyfriend and getting dates, married. YAWN

First one was quite enjoyable....

I agree what was pretty bad.Compared with Kung-Fu Panda this is nothing.
