Walk-outs

I saw this at the Jam Factory in Melbourne on the weekend and at least 6 people walked out during the first half of the movie.

I personally found the movie too disturbing. While I understand the subject matter demands that the film be dark and confronting I also believe that the movie makers wouldn't want people walking out in disgust and horror half-way through.

Just saw it and i think that the only hard parts to watch were the ones with animal cruelty the rest...was good but not as bad as Irreversible or Serbian Film...or other films...The story of this particular serial killer is a bit boring, but that´s just my opinion.

They probably walked out because they started to become uncomfortable wearing woman's panties.

Its a remarkable film but a tough watch.

As for the walk outs I remember seeing Irreversible at the Edinburgh international film festival. That was the only film were I almost had to leave the theatre.

I couldn't finish watching TSM either. I found it to be a poorly crafted crime docu-drama. No docu-drama and all crime perpetrated on the viewer. Glad I didn't pay to see this piece of garbage.

LOL! I thought you said TISM, as in the band, not the movie Snowtown.

I've seen it twice, the second time to catch any of the details I might have missed. I caught the feeling of dread and horror from the film - it was well crafted but I found keeping up with the narrative a little hazy.

I suppose that was the point, though.
