So are we ever getting that sequel to TinTin?
Or is that after he does Blackhawk?
shareIt's been written apparently so maybe it's just being rendered?
shareMaybe? But if a sequel is made, it won’t be seen for another three years according to Spielberg. What’s more, Spielberg won’t be the one directing it. Peter Jackson is set to direct the sequel instead. I can see that falling through (especially if the movie doesn’t get off the ground) but Spielberg is sure Jackson is going to stick to it. Who knows.
Oh, and Ready Player One is delightful. My personal favorite from Spielberg in quite some time (although The Post was top-notch). Loved it even more than a few of his classics.
Don't count on it... Movies being made is all about finance and the first TinTin lost money and failed to gather a sizable fan base. So what studio is going to fund it? I suppose Steve could always just pay for it with dream-works but I believe he is just like everybody else and would not like to spend a lot of time energy and money on something that will inevitably be a loss.
shareBullshit.
Budget $135 million
Box office $374 million
And that's just the US box office.
Ummmm. Wrong.

Tin Tin only did 77M US and 374M worldwide. With 135M Budget.
