Probably the worst movie i've ever seen

I almost wish i was over exaggerating but this is the biggest pile of hipster-garbage gibberish i have ever laid my eyes on. I only got to around the 1h 10 min mark because it had a high rating in imdb, and oh how it just goes to show that imdb rating isnt something you can rely on.

The only explanation i can come up with is this; there is an army of harry potter whiteknighting emma watson nerds here who give an automatic 10 to every movie she is in. That or the feminists did it, because this writer-director obviously hates men. They just happen to share the common ol' story how you will get molested by men when you are a 10 year old girl. Really? Right-o, i will be sure to never watch another movie from this director/writer, or anything with emma watson in it. She is the definition of overrated. Goodbye.

Yeah, this movie sucked. And your reasons for this movie sucking sucked. It was a sh!tty movie because of the writing and/or the acting sucked. And I *beep* love emma watson. She was terrible in it (and/or couldn't save some awful writing).

If this is the worst movie you have ever seen you have either watched few movies or cannot relate to what a lot of teens go through growing up. I find it interesting that someone like Emma Watson who clearly had a pretty good teenage period compared to a lot of us can still so easily relate to the subject matter of this film. Life can be hard no matter what social level you are from or how much money you have and as teenagers trying to find there place in the world this is especially true. I was never abused, thankfully, but I lost friends and relatives to accidents, suicide and death and that is never easy. I love the fact that this celebrates friendship, I wish there were more films like this. I'm a 47 year old guy married with kids and I still feel like a teenager at times struggling with my place in the world.

i agree emma watson was not that awesome as an actress. she's adorable but not too inspiring, but i liked the movie a lot. there have been a few other souls who have resisted liking the movie. my guess is that their mindset is such they dont understand introverts, depression and sensitive intelligent people. the people are sad therefore it is hipster garbage seems to be the thinking. its about people in the early 90's what does being a hipster have to do with anything? everyone is entitled to their opinion, this one is clearly wrong though.
