I loved it, from start till end, it's fresh, it tries to bring something new, the cinematography is great, the shots, great makeup, the bride is hot, even when she becomes infected, great and simple ending, eternal love.
I didn't care much about the story, cause the story was left behind, or maybe I just didn't get it...anyway, why people hate this movie so much?
Nope, I loved it!
I think most negative reviews have come from people who had seen and enjoyed the first two Recs. This was my first Rec movie, and I can appreciate that it is a black sheep, but I thought it was awesome in its own way.
It's amusing, stylish, and well produced. Pretty damn solid. 8/10
REC 3 is AWESOME. Waaaay better than REC 2. Loved all the jokes, but I have to admit that you have to be Spanish to get all the music-related jokes.

It isn't better than Rec and i find it hard to compare because of the totally different styles. The third one is more of a true zombie movie than the first two, the zombies just felt alot more zombie like, especially with being slow and stupid.
I am a very big fan of zombie movies but most of the time they suck because of so much ilogical and stupid behaviour and the usual ton of plot holes. Then comes Rec 3 with no plot holes, no stupid people and just loads of fun.
A very simple movie but so much better than so many other zombie movies because of a proper script that knows what it is doing and doesn't try to be more than it is.
