Can anyone tell me what happened in the end of this?

I mean what happened? The blonde guy jumps into the net and I assume forfeits the game / set / match to what? Prove a point to his wife? That his friendship is more important then anything else in his life? Or did he throw it all away so the pressure would all be off? Did he leave her? Why did she scream at the end and then seem happy? I'm so confused.

I guess it’s supposed to be open ended

The purpose of Zendaya's character is to ultimately make the two male characters realize they're in love with one another. Zendaya's character realizes this during the hotel encounter, when they tell her the story of how one taught the other how to jerk off. After she becomes injured, she still wants the glory of being a star, so she poisons their friendship by marrying the one she thinks is the most talented and begins to live vicariously through him until the two men inevitably have to square off against one another. She's simply a puppet master, trying to keep these two away from one another for her own selfish ends.

The reason why she screams at the end is because she realizes her scheme has come to an end, she no longer has power over either of them, and the reason why she immediately switches to being happy about it is because it's 2024, and she's also just realized these two men have finally realized their love for one another and aww, isn't it so cute? OMGGGG.

This is the most inaccurate assessment of this movie. You shouldn’t take stock in it. This movie is not that difficult to understand at all. Btw, this is not a gay romance. At all. Also we do not see who wins the match. Literally. It’s O-1 after contact with the net in favor of Patrick. The jubilance comes from the passion of the sport and one of the greatest volleys of all time. In that moment, they are all winners. Tennis is the sex.

Um.... You DID see the two guys kiss in the movie? Or were you out getting some popcorn?

They kissed on Zendaya's command. In the sauna scene when they were both naked, there was zero sexual tension.

They were kissing her. She physically manipulated the two guys to kiss each other by moving their faces together while she moved her face away. When they realized what was happening, they begin kissing her. But, she proved to herself that the two friends are close and there was a possibility of her breaking up their friendship since they both liked her.

The guys are not gay. They can shrug off kissing, hugging, nudity etc the same way two close brothers can.

You’ve completely gotten this wrong at every level.

This movie is about the dualism that is present in all male friendships. On one hand, there is one-up-manship and competition (subtle or not) with each other. On the other hand is genuine concern and affection for your friend. When a man is competing against his close friend for any prize (a tennis match, or a girl or whatever) his ego wants him to win, but there is another side that feels bad for his friend if the friend were lose.
In this case, it is indicated that both friends are 'turned on' by that competitiveness, and desire for the same prize. Whether they are gay or bi is not directly addressed and is irrelevant.
Art is shown to be losing his competitive edge and the final match is a brutal clash of egos. When Art smashes the ball and lands on the other side in the arms of Patrick, it indicates that he has spent his competitiveness and it indicates the return of their old camaraderie, and their care and affection for each other as best friends.
Will the two friends now dump Zendaya and marry each other? I don't think so. I am not sure the movie indicates that they are closet homosexuals. Their attraction toward Zendaya is real. I think the film's ultimate point is that in the long run, what's really important is the close bond you share with your close friends. All of us get so obsessed with "competing" in life that we tend to forget the bonds that are most important.

The 2 guys are best friends - practically brothers. Remember, Tashi said she didn't want to be a homewrecker aka: destroy their friendship, because she knew both guys liked her. Of course, their friendship ended because of her.

She asked the dark-haired guy (Patrick) to lose so her husband would regain his confidence. But, Patrick knew that wasn't the best way so instead he made Art angry by letting him know he had sex with his wife using their secret service signal. That caused Art to play well because he was so mad. Earlier in the film, Patrick even mentions how Tashi is starting an argument with him to use as energy for her upcoming tennis match.

Remember, Tashi said all she wanted was to see great tennis which happened when Art became angry and his game greatly improved.

The two guys hugging at the end means they've renewed their friendship. I think Art likely figured out about the agreement between Patrick and Tashi since he knew she left the hotel room after they discussed winning the tournament as well as Patrick purposely making him angry so he'd play better which restored his confidence.

Tashi got to see great tennis and see their friendship restored which meant she was no longer a homewrecker - two reasons for her to scream. I believe they stayed married and Art won or at least regained his confidence in order to win other tournaments.
