For all the haters

For all the people who are bashing the show, why did you even keep watching it? Did you actually watch every episode and then come on here and rant? That's just pointing out how useless your life is because you kept watching a show that you absolutely hated. It's ridiculous and pathetic. I really want to know how it's hurting any of you if it gets a second season. There's an easy solution really. DON'T WATCH IT. Oh my gosh, I'm quite simply a genius! I can't even believe I could think of that. How would you like it if you loved a show and were dying to know what happens next, and then a whole bunch of people insisted that we didn't need another season just because they liked ruining things for others? Whether it's canceled or not, it will have absolutely no effect on your life, so please stop ruining it for everyone else. I see these boards as a place for questions to be answered, not as a place for trolls to shout out things that no one else cares about.

I'm not raving how much I love TN, so don't start calling me stupid and point out all the flaws in the show. Yes, it definitely had a few pointless and random episodes in the beginning. I certainly had my own doubts with the whole memory thing. And Josh really annoys me. There I said it. But once they got on track with the main story, it worked. Stop being selfish and find something else to criticize. Your own life, perhaps?

I loved this show. I was shocked when it was cancelled. The atmosphere, scenes and the story appealed to me.

It's sad how some stupid shows are still running and a good show like this is gone.

I agree in full.

Promising shows with inventive stories are cancelled while garbage shows get season after season of pretty much the same cheap stuff.

I loved Terra Nova as well but like many if not most fans started watching too late to make any difference.

I know this is an old posting but the show was Sci-Fi not real life it was meant to entertain story lovers like me. Who cares if the graphics weren't blockbuster quality on TV? We use to have a real Sci-Fi channel years ago now it's full of stupid ghosts and wrestlers, that's not why that channel was created. I for one just like to watch a show to see what someone's mind could dream up. Where would this world be if Sci-Fi writers were gone. I remember reading a book written a century ago about a rocket to the moon that had 3 stages to get into space and watching a TV show 50 years ago where a man pulled a 2"x4" box out and started talking to someone somewhere else, or someone using a hand held computer. A lot of people read and watched these things too, others were criticizing these things, they were ridiculous, pure fantasy, would never happen why waste money even putting them into a story.... wait a min my cell phone is ringing.

Point is ....Necessity is not the Mother of Invention - The Sci-Fi writer is.

Someone watches what some of you call a stupid show with cheap effects and afterwards they think "You know I think I can make that work". Next time you call someone on your cell of use your laptop or watch NASA launch a rocket thank that low budget movie and thank people like Jules Vern and Roddenberry and a lot of others for thinking of cheap props for their stories and shows. Because someone is watching and one day you might see that stupid low budget prop in your house and then remember how you thought that show was really stupid and should have been cancelled because at the time you had no imagination and were too immature to think out of the box.

After all It's a show and you have to make your own decision, If you don't like it change the channel, as for me I've never seen a bad Sci-Fi show. They all have their own merits and flaws but who cares it's Sci-Fi and that's what it's all about, something that doesn't exist in todays would. If you want real watch a documentary about science.

I couldn't agree more.

In my opinion the CGI was really good for a TV show.

And those complaining about the props like the weapons I'd remind them that in the original Star Wars movies they used old British sten guns (A very old submachinegun) for the stormtroopers (Who still couldn't hit a planet lol).

But also the imagination of it all is as you say what potentially drives human development forward.

Jules Verne wrote about people going to the moon at least a full century before it was even plausible to even think in such terms.

It was mediocre at best. Without us "useless people" your rude arse wouldn't even have a complete season. The cgi was cheesy af, the dialogue was poor and the acting was horrifying not to mention the plot holes. Personally, I watched the first episode just for the f**cks of it and since I knew it got canceled and there wasn't much more to watch I figured why the heck not? Truth is it was bad and failed to attract viewers. So you can rant about it as much as you like but that ain't bring your TN back.
