Love Hobo!! Deathproof was really good. Planet Terror sucked ass royally and you couldn't pay me to watch Machete.

Hobo with a shotgun absolutely sucked....terrible. Death Proof is by far the best movie out of these four.

1. Hobo with a Shotgun - Extremely entertaining. One of the most unrelentlessness movies I've ever seen. Super visceral, and I loved the direction. Reminds me a lot of old Troma movies.

2. Death Proof - It didn't really drag on for me, in fact I really dug the pacing of the film. Of these four movies, it felt most like what it was paying homage to. Also one of the best car chases ever.

3. Machete - It didn't always hit the right notes, but Danny Trejo is irresistible onscreen.

4. Planet Terror - Everything about this movie appeals to me, but I didn't feel an emotional connection to any of the characters. Onscreen there is constantly something awesome happening, but nothing moved me. It's hard to explain why this one didn't resonate with me, and I think I'll give it another watch because of that.

Hobo is Good

Planet Terror is better

There is nothing to match the coolness of Rose McGowan's machine gun leg in any of the other films.

I enjoyed them all.

1. Death Proof (Great film. Not just great Grindhouse film, but great film period).

2. From Dusk Till Dawn (I'm counting it because it fits with the style.

3. Planet Terror
4. Hobo With A Shotgun
5. Machete

Too many to rank in terms of real 70s films.
