Why was this rated R?

There was only 1 f-word, no onscreen sex at all, and only very brief violence that wasn't graphic at all. How did this get an R rating?

reply

The reason for which they *presumably* gave the movie an R-rating was because they use the term
C O C K S * * K E R (big whoop!!)
twice in the movie, and Nixon's character drops an F-bomb towards the end. That's it.

Rated R was short for 'RAA", or Ridiculously Annoying Accent. It tells people to avoid DiCaprio's attempt at........whatever the hell he was trying to do. His Aussie bit at the beginning was interesting though.

You know what, that was the FIRST question I had when I finished this film.

God forbid children actually see an educational film that can teach them a lot about history or at the very least spark their interest in learning more.
