How many females have seen this?

Well? Did you enjoy it or did you just watch because in your mind he is "hot"? Do you consider him attractive in this movie?

First off, I don't think you are a sexist troll LOL. It's a valid question. If you asked this question back in the day about 300, my answer would have been HELL YES! hehe.

I just watched this last night. There was nothing on the 30 cable channels I use my entire paycheck to pay for, except this so I decided to watch it. Realizing Leo was in it was just a bonus :). He is one of my Top 7 so I will pretty much watch anything he is in but I do think he is a good actor and pretty much getting better as he goes along, thank goodness.

However, besides it being the only thing on to watch, I had wanted to see it when it first came out to theaters because I have really never seen a movie solely based on JEH's life. I have seen a couple of movies with him as a side character, Public Enemies being a favorite of mine, but not him as a main. Plus that era of gangsters is rather intriguing and as someone has mentioned, I have always heard about the Lindbergh baby but never really knew the extensive details from the FBI side of things. It was pretty interesting to see the type of man that ran it all, though I think the movie could have been better with such a meaty topic to dig it's teeth into.

But I digress. To answer your question. I did enjoy the movie and didn't watch it because in my mind I think Leo is "hot" (though I wouldn't put that in quotes because he is and he is extreme hotness in Wolf of Wallstreet LOL) And I thought he was very attractive in the movie....just not when he was portraying the 77 y/o JEH because, well, Im not 77...

Is that a catchphrase or epilepsy?

J. Edgar is presented as sad, scared and isolated. Depressed and paranoid is not attractive. Considering the blackmail culture he created and peddled it would have been almost impossible for him to be intimate with Clyde Tolson because he would have expected some one was spying on him.
