Woke rubbish

-A London terror attack is today much more likely to be done by Islamists than IRA, yet for this movie they chose White villains

-Victims of terror attack in London are most likely to be White, yet for this movie they chose non White victim protagonist.

-British government agents protecting the country from terror are most likely to be White, yet for this movie they chose mostly Blacks and Asians

If this was just one movie and not a part of a pattern, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but it is.

I wonder why Hollywood never made a movie about a REAL WORLD terror attack on London on 7/7 where Muslims and one Black guy killed more than 50 people.

lol okay bud

Perhaps because this is based on a book that was released during The Troubles?

reply

A book? No shit? I assume an Asian guy was the victim of terrorism and intelligence officers were Black and brown just like in the movie? Gimme a break. The movie is pure PC and I have a point. It's just not PC to portray White people as victims and brown people as anything other than good guys today in movies.

reply

That Asian guy is the reason I watched this movie.
Otherwise this would've been yet another boring British political "thriller".

Agree about movies these days being afraid of portraying black people as bad. If one would judge American society by how it's portrayed in movies and series, one would get the impression that African-Americans are a model minority.

But this was not something that bothered me in this forgettable movie.

Yes, a book. Can't you be bothered to read anything? The IRA are Irish, they can be actual villains in real life. Don't you know any history at all?

You didn't actually which this film did you? There were white victims in the film. Do you really have to be so delicate that you're wounded by the mere presence of a few people of color in supporting roles in a film?

Your life sounds so hard. :)
