I don't see what she did that is earning her all of these terrible reviews on here. She was average to me, just like everyone else in this film. Average performances, average story, average overall. The only thing I thought was bad was the writing (at times). Everyone's mentioned the "wargasms" line by now, but yeah ..
shareThe character was just ridiculous. She had these stupid lines, and next to nothing to do. Lively definitely wasn't SO bad. She wasn't great, but she didn't do anything especially wrong. I'm not sure anyone could have done anything with the part as it was written.

I thought Lively was okay in her role, but it was rather jarring the way they showed the men naked and not even her nipples, then I find out she is part of this whole phony "I don't do nude!" stuff.
What a hypocrite. She wants the benefit of playing this kind of role, and then there's that kind of line drawing?
I knew there was something funny about her portrayal.
