I really like the new guys.
I think they're working out fine.
shareEven though I miss Chin and Kono, the new characters are growing on me. I still do miss Max a LOT though! Wish he'd come back.
shareMe too! I like all of them. I do miss the old characters, and wish they hadn't left. But the new casting is working out well.
shareI agree! They are sweet and interesting. And in real life, people don't stay at one job forever. It is entirely logical for some folks to move and and others to take their place.
shareExactly and look at a show like Criminal Minds that has turned the cast over a few times, has worked out fine even in a heavier concept show, same with Law And Order SVU.
shareAgreed! And it could keep the show fresher with new characters as well.
I am glad that Ian Anthony Dale, who plays Adam Noshimuri, Kono's husband, is still in the show.
I like them too. I was a bit surprised they kept Adam on the show. He's still married to Kono so I wonder how they'll keep explaining her absence in the long run.
shareYeah, I like them too. Ratings are still good so it looks like Chin and Kono leaving hasn't hurt the show's popularity. Meaghan Rath is pretty sexy.
shareMe too! I didn't think the new characters were going to work since Chin and Kono were there from the very start, but it's really coming along.
Maybe "Hawaii Five-0" needed something fresh. After seven years, some of the arcs were becoming boring or just outright silly. The introduction of Tani and Junior was a great idea.
I didn't know who Meaghan Rath was but she seems pretty decent and attractive to boot. Beulah Koale is nailing it, especially after seeing him in "Thank You For Your Service" (2017). The guy is a versatile actor.
The ratings seem to be increasing, so obviously Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park's departure had no impact. It'll probably keep being renewed at this rate.
