I haven't watched it for a few seasons now. I am surprised Eddie is still on the show. She seemed like one of those short term characters who ends up leaving or killed as part of some huge story line.

She's really become insufferable. I think she's actually become a worse actress as the show goes along. No matter what scene she's written into, she behaves like an annoying host of a cocktail party with old friends. Whether she's at work or at home or at dinner, she's doing that fake-charm banter people do. She's a big meddling phoney baloney! I liked her fine before but ever since she got married and literally got a seat at the table, it's god awful. And certainly the show needed some more women in it, but this ain't it.

While she comes off as "young and adorable" she is truly annoying. She is attempting to bring so many liberal things into every situation. Her woke'ism is truly irritating. But the writers did it on purpose. I would rather still see annoying Linda all day long.
