As films of each genre attempt to up the ante year after year, decade after decade, this one is as tame (read lame) as it comes.
Though in and of itself it's not horrible. Not good either, really. I think if I was 10 years old and never seen a horror film before I'd think this film brilliant.
Predictable to the beat jump scares, I guess if you were a racist Indian immigrant living in the USA that only watched horror movies with Indian immigrants as the leads then this is for you.
Also good if you have some kind of weird liking for predicting jump scares.

What the hell is that supposed to mean? You see very few American horror films with Indian main characters---so how the hell is seeing one for a change "racist"? You are literally not making any damn sense at all. Most horror films---in America--have white people as the main characters 99% of the time. That's why your little stupid comment didn't make any sense.
