Had the ending been different...?

I liked the movie for the most part, very disappointed with the ending. When they were in the car and on the way to the church, I thought there was gonna be a big showdown, final exorcism of the main girl (kinda thinking something like that scene in "The Unborn"). If the ending was different would you guys have liked the movie more? Or in general was it just a bad movie? What else didn't you like about it?

The ending sucked. Who thought that a demonic virus outbreak was a good idea?

I like some occult stuff from time to time, which was the reason why I choose to watch this flick. This was just mediocre until the car sequence. That's when it turned into a worthless desperate piece of *beep* and a huge timewaster.

Like OP pointed out I was also expecting at least cool ending. My sister, brother-in-law and I were looking at each other, all thinking ''what the *beep* did we just watch?!''. This was the laziest piece of crap I've ever seen from start to finish.

To anyone considering to watch this: I recommend not wasting your time on this, but if you really want to know why this movie is hated so much, don't spend any money on it and find a free way to watch it. - Yes, *beep* you lazy filmmakers! *beep* you!!

Yeah, same here. I felt the ending was too abrupt. Was waiting for the "final" show-down too! Alas!

Usually reviewers complain when they DO get exactly what they expect.

Replying to something in 2012. Crazy.

I watched it a week or two ago for the first time. I think the "check this site for more" ending was taking the p***. If you're going to put a caption in just have it say something like: "The Vatican refuses to publicly comment on the incident. The cause of the activity you just saw remains unknown as investigations are inconclusive". Had it just rolled credits with no caption, it would still be annoying as it is all build up with no pay-off but to tell the audience to check a website for the ending is just ridiculous. Regardless of a change in ending, the movie would still be poor, poor acting, poor characters etc.
