What would happen if Someone Rebuked the Witch in the Name of God?

Just saying this because in both The Quran/Koran and The Holy Bible there are many accounts of evil spirits being cast out in the Name of God, Rebuking them and causing them to flee.

https://www.openbible.info/topics/casting_out_demons

So logically if a group of Christians or even Muslims were trapped in the Woods by the Witch they could just start Rebuking the Witch in the Name of God and she being an evil spirit would be forced to flee and go away, her power over them would be shattered and they could escape the woods and get home.

There you have it, just bring God into the woods, scream Gods Name at the Witch, command her to flee, even if one was an atheist it might be worth a shot, the Witch was an evil spirit haunting the woods, she would be subject to Gods authority and power and forced to flee if someone invoked Gods Name.

And the fact that the Witch existed in the spirit realm kind of proves that there must be a God, otherwise how could spirits exist?

She would laugh and say there is no god

If you read The Blair WItch: A Dossier
;, Heather was a casual Wiccan who actually went into the woods *looking* for the Blair Witch. The film was actually, for her, only a side consideration.

The fact that the "witch" was actively trying to kill them probably rattled her a lot more deeply than it did the others.

This signature really brings the room together, Does It Not?

That should be obvious.

Given the sheer level of evil and death that Christianity is responsible for in whole of it's history of being inflicted on this planet and humans, the Blair witch would think it's being rebuked for not living up to it's potential for evil-doing. That it is being challenged and therefore should redouble it's efforts and live up to the example of Christianity and try to please God with the sheer amount of evil it does.

So everybody and everything on the planet would now be fair game and a target. We humans would be right and properly screwed.

God is a fairy tale, nothing would happen....I still can't understand other than being scared of death, why you believe in god when there is 0 proof of his existence other than man made bs

Possibly, but not necessarily the one you believe in.

And from that it therefore doesn't follow that trying to invoke a "god" will have any effect at all.

It'd have been even MORE boring as neither one exists.

The amount of stupidity in this thread is amazing.

Absolutely! There's no reason one work of fiction can't be included in another. It's all made up so, yeah!
